What Happened to Blue Onion?

I wonder whatever happened to Blue Onion Bar & Restaurant?

The disco that invited countless and numerous guests, the parties that raged till the wee hours of the morning, the early bird fights, the girls and the bands that played on Wednesdays.

My gosh I remember the long queues that ran for more than 200 meters and the waiting for that someone to leave the establishment for that person in the queue to enter.
I even remember models and celebrities had to wait in line just for hell of entering the joint. With the impulse to feel that vibration within that dance music and to rub another in that crowded non-stop dancing heat.

Well, with that ever changing market, I guess times are just picking up and the past is gone and in with the new.

I came upon this place and saw the difference.. The difference was:

The place is all been scrapped and at this point it is being demolished.. Even the building is going to be demolished. I wonder what happened?

A little birdy told me that Mega World now claims of this site and will make further constructions to make a new walkway for the Eastwood Mall to connect to the main events areas and to the cinemas.

Demolish dates is unknown as of yet but the re construction of the establishment remains a myth as though noted for it to be moved behind the newer buildings of Eastwood City.

Can we see this as a far fetched claim?

In which everyone will have to go to a place that's hard to reach if and when the new establishment was reconstructed.

What will I miss about the place? well the fun nights with my friends and meeting new people from left to right.

The food at first was great, from 2002 to 2003 but above those years, the food just never hit the mark... As though they never serve any in the first place hehe..

No more water fountains and the chairs outside for the lunch menus to be ready and that sweet dance music that rumble through your feet..

All we have to say is that, those where the days and we had fun with you guys..
