within.

11. With deep frier or just a deep sauce pan with plenty of oil, heat it up and
then once at medium heat already, drop dumplings and deep fry until golden
crisps.

12. With remaining cheese sauce in a plate serve and pour over gyoza and
garnish with finely chopped spring onions. Bon Appetite

Tea Information

Q:What are the basic types of tea?

A:According to the Tea Institute of the USA, there are five basic types of tea:

·White tea -- full withered and dried, essentially unprocessed and non-oxidized

·Green tea -- China or Japan style

·Oolong tea -- partially oxidized.

·Black tea -- fully oxidized

·Pu'erh tea -- processed then fermented and aged

Q:How are tea leaves processed?

A:There are two basic processing methods used for tea: orthodox and unorthodox. Orthodox methods generally preserve the integrity of the full leaf, whereas unorthodox methods used a machine to mince, shred or crush the leaf.

Regardless of the method used, tea leaves go through five processing steps:

1.Withering -moisture is removed from the tea leaves by spreading them out and leaving them to wither.

2Crushing or Rolling - in the orthodox method, the leaves are now rolled so the remaining moisture is released. in the unorthodox method, the tea leaves are crushed into tiny pieces.

3.Oxidation - the leaves are spread out again, this time in a cool, damp atmosphere, and the oxidation process continues. The color of a tea leaf is originally green, but as oxygen reacts with the cell tissues, it begins to turn a copper color.

4.Firing - firing stops the oxidation process and decreases or eliminates bacteria.

5.Sorting - the final process involves sorting the tea leaves by size and grade.
become a beverage of choice for many health-conscious consumers.

Q: What is the safe and proper way to brew iced tea?

A:According to the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Tea Association of the USA, iced tea should be brewed at 87.78°C for three to five minutes. The brewed tea should then be stored for no longer than eight hours. The tea brewer, storage dispenser and faucet should be cleaned daily.

12 Ways To Overcome Hangovers

1. Only drink below 50g of alcahol.Even heavy drinkers have a limit because drinking gives a damage to the liver. The right amount of alcohol can help improve heart disease. The right amount is about 30g to 50g a day.To calculate it you must (Amount of alcohol * percentage of alcolhol)For example: 7.5 glass of beer, 2 shots of whisky, 5 shots of sogu is the best amount!

2. You must have 2 or 3 days of rest before drinking again. It''s better to drink alot in one day than to drink alittle every day. You must give a rest to the liver!!!

3. Never drink in an empty stomach! If you drink in an empty stomach the alcohol does not decompse, and your body absorbs the alcohol and you can get drunk every easily. If you don''t have time to have a meal before drinking, then you should at least have a glass of milk or a spoon of olive oil.(something that is not distractive to your stomach)

4. You must drink slowly.Taking shots is a very bad habit. Drinking fast can give a heart attack or a majore shock to your heart.

5. Eat alot of side dishes while your drinking.Alcohol has alot of calories but it''s not food, therefore it doesn''t give you any nutritions. In order to stabilize your body you must eat meat or vegetable for a side dish.

6. Never mix drinksWhen you mix drinks the components react with each other and make our body to absorb the alcohol. That''s why we get drunk easily when we drink cocktails. Also we must drink weak alcohol to strong ones, such as beer to vodka.

7. When drinking it''s good to sing or talk as much as you can. 10% of the alcohol is dissolved while breathing.

8. If you feel like throughing up, you must. Feeling like throughing up means that you''ve drunken more than you can digest. If you don''t, then it can block your throat and give you serious damage.

9. Don''t smoke while your drinking.Smoking is bad for the body any ways, but when you drink and smoke together, the body absorbs the nicotine easier and gives damage to the lungs and the liver.

10. Alcohol dissolution drinks should be only drank after drinking. If you take it before then it only make your drink more but if you take it later it helps you not to have a hang over.

11. You must drink alot of water and sweeten drinks after a hangover.Water and honey tea helps you to get over hangovers. However coffee makes it worse... and ofcourse alcohol.-_-;;;

12. Don''t have hot baths after drinking. If you take a hot bath after drinking your temperture drops suddenly and your energy gets wasted which can cause you to faint.

Hope you guys learn something

What Happened to Blue Onion?

I wonder whatever happened to Blue Onion Bar & Restaurant?

The disco that invited countless and numerous guests, the parties that raged till the wee hours of the morning, the early bird fights, the girls and the bands that played on Wednesdays.

My gosh I remember the long queues that ran for more than 200 meters and the waiting for that someone to leave the establishment for that person in the queue to enter.
I even remember models and celebrities had to wait in line just for hell of entering the joint. With the impulse to feel that vibration within that dance music and to rub another in that crowded non-stop dancing heat.

Well, with that ever changing market, I guess times are just picking up and the past is gone and in with the new.

I came upon this place and saw the difference.. The difference was:

Blue Onion June 23, 09

The place is all been scrapped and at this point it is being demolished.. Even the building is going to be demolished. I wonder what happened?

A little birdy told me that Mega World now claims of this site and will make further constructions to make a new walkway for the Eastwood Mall to connect to the main events areas and to the cinemas.

Demolish dates is unknown as of yet but the re construction of the establishment remains a myth as though noted for it to be moved behind the newer buildings of Eastwood City.

Can we see this as a far fetched claim?

In which everyone will have to go to a place that's hard to reach if and when the new establishment was reconstructed.

What will I miss about the place? well the fun nights with my friends and meeting new people from left to right.

The food at first was great, from 2002 to 2003 but above those years, the food just never hit the mark... As though they never serve any in the first place hehe..

Here it is today as it looks,

Blue Onion Today

No more water fountains and the chairs outside for the lunch menus to be ready and that sweet dance music that rumble through your feet..

All we have to say is that, those where the days and we had fun with you guys..

Until then.....

Condolences To "Chito Anglionto"
Rest in peace my friend

Eastwood Lunch Trip

Today was so a hot! hot! hot! day and a great day for a swim or a good trip to the mall but since its on a weekday, it's time for work, work, work!

Well, as I was going to visit a client at a nearby building within the Eastwood City development, I walked through the once busy of cheery people of walks alike place, and wanted to dine at an area that me and my friends use to go to for Friday nights.

The whole place has changed and most of the old establishments are now replaced with different walks of life.

Its very interesting to see new establishments and new cites and also good to see some establishments that pioneered the place. (Which brought sweet old memories back and wondering how time flies)

As usual, I was having a hard time choosing where to eat because the food seemed so versed and practically found easily withing the next compound or next subdivision.

How was this different to any other gimik areas. The theme never changes, and next you'll find a mall next to it and develop the same ideas inside the food court. Where is the fun in that?

My new discoveries in the vicinity, not only discouraged me but the ambiance of the atmosphere seemed so dull and far quiet since the time it first opened.

For the purpose of lunch, destination to Eastwood would be my last option to refer to my colleagues. The place itself is designed thoroughly as a wine and dine setup or is made for the gimikero and gimikeras of the night world or also known as the party night owls.

Eastwood seems to survive towards the employee traffic and the residents within the vicinity but as of attracting the nearby locals and the social gatherers of the party world, Eastwood would certainly have a harder time to approach this target.

I mean come on the old setup is so pompously tiring and there's nothing new.

This place is very good for the retired patrons during the day, and at night, let's say good luck.

EASTWOOD! bring back the wild parties, the foam parties, those street parties that was once the peek of the year 2002-3...

The theme of Singapore is too old, bring back the fun, the excitement, the sense of a never ending night.

It would be nice to bring that New Years Eve feeling as though it was everyday.

"You are what you eat" Is this saying true?

FAT!!

Could be our biggest enemy in tackling day to day over health issues. Why?

Because people these days love that juiciness in fast foods,

that crunchy salty taste in packed snacks which contains a high percentage of fat due to deep fried styles or even in baked styles.

Or that greasy filled doughnut after deep
fried in a sea full of oil. That indulging chocolate filled icing
that covers outer layers of that vanilla
flavored wet oiled dough.

Or maybe that morning heavy breakfast with rice and those luscious crispy skins that wollop your mouth in many crackling sounds

Or the wonders in the sweetness of those irresistable soft mouth watering chocolates and creamed filled succulence in between fluffy sponge rolls

Which in the end, it will only end up like

and gain plenty of this
So what choice should you do?

Choose the right way of eating to a
healthy and strong heart by eating
a fruitful, light breakfast
and protein shakes

Eating the freshest of
Produce and the juiciest of
seasoned fruits
and become healthy and beautiful

Enhance appeal and confidence

Choose your life. Live what god has given you to love. Its you're choice....

BUT NOT TOO MUCH Or end up like this

I guess it is true, You are what you eat!
